Pacific Coastal Airlines Launches Inaugural Flight Between Vancouver and Quesnel

Richmond, BC – Pacific Coastal Airlines celebrated a new milestone today with the launch of its non-stop service connecting Vancouver International Airport’s South Terminal (YVR) and Quesnel Airport (YQZ).
The event at Quesnel Airport brought together local officials, airport representatives, community members, and local media for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks, and passenger giveaways as guests boarded the inaugural flight.
“The launch of our Quesnel service marks an important step in strengthening air access between the Cariboo and the Lower Mainland,” said Johnathan Richardson, VP of Commercial at Pacific Coastal Airlines. “This route will make it easier for residents and businesses to stay connected while opening new opportunities for travel, trade, and tourism in this region.”

The route operates six days a week, Sunday through Friday, using the 19-seat Beechcraft 1900 aircraft. It offers convenient afternoon departures and comfortable regional travel. With seamless connections through Vancouver, travellers can now easily reach other destinations in Pacific Coastal Airlines’ network, including Victoria (YYJ), Comox (YQQ), Campbell River (YBL), and Powell River (YPW).
