Check-In

Customers should check-in 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time with appropriate government issued identification. Check-in and checked baggage acceptance closes 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Failure to be checked-in prior to closing may result in the cancellation of your entire reservation. As per Transport Canada, Identity Screening Regulations require all passengers who appear 18 years of age or older to present ID at check-in and when boarding.

Online Check-In

Online check-in is the fastest and easiest way to check-in for your flight. It is available between 24 hours and 1 hour prior to scheduled departure times. During online check-in customers can prepay for checked baggage and obtain an electronic boarding pass. If you are traveling with checked baggage we recommend that you drop off your checked baggage 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time with one of our agents at our check-in counters. We are unable to accept checked baggage that is dropped off 40 minutes or less prior to your scheduled departure time. Check-In Online Here

Please ensure that you are present and available for boarding at the departure gate 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight.

 

Important – For guests departing from Victoria International Airport (YYJ) we strongly recommend that you arrive early due to longer than average security processing times. We recommend that you check-in at least 60 minutes prior to departure.

Vancouver International Airport South Terminal

If your flight is departing from Vancouver, please note Pacific Coastal Airlines operates from the South Terminal of the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

YVR operates a South Terminal courtesy shuttle using their hybrid buses. The service runs every 30 minutes and updates can be found on YVR’s website.

The full schedule is available at the pick-up locations. The pick-up times vary by day with a frequency of every 30 minutes. The stops include the International Terminal, Domestic Terminal, South Terminal and Float Plane Dock.

At YVR’s Main Terminal, there are two shuttle pick-up areas:

  • The International Terminal pick-up is on Level 3, adjacent to the US transborder check-in area
  • The Domestic Terminal pick-up area is on Level 3, adjacent to the Domestic check-in area
