What to Do: If your flight is affected, Pacific Coastal Airlines will contact you directly. Unless otherwise advised, please ensure that you check-in 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. We advise customers travelling to first check the status of their flight prior to heading to the airport.
As a result of anticipated weather impacts on our network we have introduced a flexible change & cancellation policy for our customers. If you currently have a reservation, Pacific Coastal Airlines has implemented a policy that makes it possible for you to make voluntary changes or cancellations to your itinerary if:
- The reservation is for travel on September 3, 2025
- Your itinerary includes a flight to, from or via Anahim Lake (YAA) or Bella Coola (QBC)
Customers scheduled to travel during the affected period, can change their reservation without change fees and applicable fare difference. Customers may also change their itinerary to travel to or from an alternate destination serviced by Pacific Coastal Airlines. To change your reservation please contact our call centre at 1-800-663-2872 or email reserve@pacificcoastal.com. If you have made a reservation through a travel agent, please contact your travel agency directly for assistance.
Customers scheduled to travel during the affected period can cancel their reservation without applicable cancellation fees and are eligible for a full refund to original form of payment. Sunday, September 14
Flights scheduled for September 14, 2025 to and from Powell River Airport will remain in operation, despite Jervis Inlet and Agamemnon Channel Power Line Replacement Project.

- Only book through trusted and reputable travel websites

Watch Out For:
- Websites offering unrealistically low fares
- Platforms that lack secure payment gateways (look for HTTPS)
- Booking agents with no verifiable contact information or customer support
- Spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in website content

The Government of Canada has recently announced several consumer product recalls on popular power banks due to the risk of fire. As a result, these devices are not permitted on board Pacific Coastal Airlines flights.
If you are traveling with a power bank, please check your device before you fly.
