Airport: Vancouver Airport (YVR)
Event: Network disruption due to Air Traffic Control (Nav Canada) staffing shortages, with delays expected to continue throughout the remainder of the day.
When: Monday, May 19 – All day
What to Do: If your flight is affected, Pacific Coastal Airlines will contact you directly. Unless otherwise advised, please ensure that you check-in 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. We advise customers travelling to first check the status of their flight prior to heading to the airport.
As a result of anticipated weather impacts on our network we have introduced a flexible change policy for our customers. If you currently have a reservation, Pacific Coastal Airlines has implemented a policy that makes it possible for you to make voluntary changes to your itinerary if:
- The reservation is for travel on May 19
- Your itinerary includes a flight to, from or via Vancouver (YVR)
Customers scheduled to travel during the affected period can change their reservation without change fees and applicable fare difference. Customers may also change their itinerary to travel to or from an alternate destination serviced by Pacific Coastal Airlines. To change your reservation please contact our call centre at 1-800-663-2872 or email reserve@pacificcoastal.com. If you have made a reservation through a travel agent, please contact your travel agency directly for assistance.
Please note reservation changes must be made at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Standard fare terms and conditions will apply to changes made within 2 hours of scheduled departure time.
Our mobility lift in Powell River (YPW) is currently out of service. Until further notice, all passengers who cannot independently manage the stairs cannot travel on flight to/from Powell River (YPW). For assistance with flight bookings, please contact our call center at 1-800-663-2872.
