Winter Weather Event for Friday, December 23rd

A significant and complex winter weather event is expected to have sizeable impact on Pacific Coastal Airlines flights on Friday, December 23. As a result we anticipate most flight in our network will not be able to operate due to the inclement weather conditions. We have proactively decided to reduce the number of flights we will be operating in our network. The following flights have been cancelled for Friday, December 23:

• Williams Lake – #551, #552, #555 and #556

• Penticton – #1323, #1324, #1307 and #1308
• Victoria – #100, #101, #103, #105, #106, #109 and #110
• Prince George – #1421, #1422, #1413 and #1414
• Kelowna – #1531, #1532, #1533, #1534, #1535, #1536, #1537, #1538, #1524 and #1524
• Masset – #971 and #972
• Port Hardy – #865 & #866

We advise customers travelling on Friday, December 23 to first check the status of their flight prior to heading to the airport.

Due to high demand at this time of the year there is extremely limited seat availability to rebook customers. Our staff are working to try and assist customers to reach their destination ahead of the holidays; however, we may not be able to accommodate customers on another Pacific Coastal Airlines flight for a few days or until after the holiday rush is over.

Need to cancel your flight? 

To help reduce longer than normal wait times on our call centre, customers who wish to completely cancel their entire reservation with Pacific Coastal Airlines may do so by completing our online cancellation form. If one or more of your travel dates are between now and Tuesday, December 27 inclusive we will cancel your reservation without penalty and provide a full refund to original form of payment. Flexible Change & Cancellation Policy 

As we anticipate further weather impacts on our network over the next few days we have introduced a flexible change & cancellation policy for our customers.

Cancellation Policy
For customers who have one or more of their travel dates between now and Tuesday, December 27 inclusive who wish to cancel their entire reservation may do so by completing our online cancellation form. Reservations will be cancelled without penalty and provide a full refund to original form of payment. Further details can be found on our online cancellation form webpage.

Change Policy
We have also introduced a flexible change policy that allows customers who have one or more of their travel dates between now and Sunday, January 8, 2023 inclusive to make changes to their reservation without change fees or applicable fare difference.

To change your reservation please contact our call centre at 1-800-663-2872 or email reserve@pacificcoastal.com. If you have made a reservation through a travel agent, please contact your travel agency directly for assistance.

Call Centre Wait Times 

We are currently experiencing longer than normal wait times on our call centre. To keep lines clear for those customers with upcoming travel who require assistance, please only call if your flight is within 72 hours. Alternatively, you can email reserve@pacificcoastal.com for assistance. We kindly ask that new reservations be made on our website to help keep phonelines clear for our reservations team to assist customers requesting changes or who require special assistance.

If you choose to leave a call back message please only leave one. We will respond to call back messages in the order in which they are received.
