Richmond, BC – May 28, 2026 – Pacific Coastal Airlines is pleased to announce the addition of a second daily flight between Kelowna (YLW) and Comox (YQQ) for the peak summer travel period. The enhanced service will operate six days a week, Sunday to Friday, effective July 1, 2026 to September 5, 2026.

The added frequency will provide greater schedule flexibility and improved connectivity between Vancouver Island and the Okanagan during the busy summer season.

EXPANDING CAPACITY TO MEET STRONG KELOWNA–COMOX DEMAND

The decision to add additional summer capacity reflects the route’s continued strong performance, growing passenger demand, and positive feedback from the communities served. The Kelowna–Comox route highlights the value of convenient, non-stop regional air service connecting Vancouver Island and the Okanagan, supporting both leisure travel and local mobility.
