Pacific Coastal Airlines is a participant of the Travel Assistance Program. Call our Reservations Centre at 1.800.663.2872 or 604.273.8666, or your travel agent,  to book a medical fare as you cannot book these online. Please review the following program outline prior to calling us. Thank you.  

Pacific Coastal is pleased to extend medical fares for those who must travel for health related reasons.   Please visit your doctor for a Travel Assistance Program (TAP) form.  Note that once filled out and signed by your doctor an authorization number issued by MSP is required to complete the form; once you have that process completed then you can phone to make your reservation.   The original form must be submitted at check-in. 

We recognize that sometimes due to last minute or weekend travel you cannot always get an authorization from MSP (as they are only open during the week).  In this case we will accept an official and dated letter from your doctor on their letterhead (notes on a prescription pad are not acceptable).  It must be noted where you need to travel, dates, and whether an escort (maximum of one) is required.  The doctor's name, signature, and contact information must be clear. The original is required at check-in.

A maximum of one (1) escort is allowed to travel with the authorized passenger at the same medical fare. The escort must travel on the same flights. No exceptions please.
