Fare Explanations

Unrestricted fares

 - Refundable.
 - Change fees do not apply.
 - Refunds to be requested through Pacific Coastal Airlines.
 - Passengers that do not show up for their flight will not receive a credit or a refund.

Restricted fares

 - Limited seat availability.
 - 100% non-refundable.
 - Changes to the itinerary will be subject to a change fee of $30.00 (plus GST) and any difference in fare, 
   per person.
 - Cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee of $30.00 (plus GST), per person, with the remaining
   amount being held as a credit that may be used towards the purchase of any future travel. The credit will
   remain valid for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
 - Passengers that do not show up for their flight will not receive a credit or a refund.   

No shows

Failure to cancel a reservation in advance of check-in and not showing up for your flight
will result in :

1. forfeit of payment for the "no-show" segment (no credit given)
2. subsequent flights on the same itinerary automatically cancelled (credit given)

No exceptions.

Change and Cancellation Fees


A fee of $30 plus GST will be charged for flight cancellation and also for date, time, and 
name changes, plus any difference in fare, if applicable. Exceptions:

(a) Y1 fare (full fare) is not subject to a change fee.

(b) Quik Pass bookings are not subject to a change or cancellation fee.

(c) Refunds, minus the $30.00 fee (per person), are offered for reservations that are made and
cancelled within 24 hours.  

Credit Files

In the event a non-refundable reservation is cancelled a credit file, minus the cancellation fee, is created and can be used towards future travel anywhere in Pacific Coastal's network. This credit is also transferable to another person. If the value of the future travel exceeds the credit amount then the difference will be charged ; if less then a credit balance will remain on file.  Note that credit files are good to use for one (1) year from the original date of purchase. No extentions are allowed.
