during the Olympics.
YVR Airport Authority has introduced
a strategy to minimize inconvenience
for travellers from the Main Terminal
to the South Terminal.
1. The schedule from the South Terminal
to the Main Termial will remain as
normal per the schedule to the right.
Upon arrival at the South Terminal,
passengers will be escorted over
to the secure hold room. They may
not enter the public area and mix
with unsecured passengers or
pedestrians. In the event of
inadvertently mixing with unsecured
passengers they will need to be
re-screened before boarding the
shuttle.
The drop-off point at the Main will be
different than usual.
2. Service from the Main Terminal to
the South Terminal will be from a
different location and have a modified
schedule: every hour and half-hour
from 7:00am to 6:30pm daily.
Pick-up and drop-off at the
Main Terminal will be outside the
first floor entrance/exit to the
International Terminal. Please
look for the green awning near the
crosswalk in front of the parkade.

Signs at the usual pick-up/drop-off
points will be posted directing
travellers to the above temporary
pick-up/drop-off point.

Pacific Coastal Airlines operates a shuttle between YVR's South Terminal and the Main Terminal's
International and Domestic pick-up/drop-off points. In order to provide quick and efficient service
from the South Terminal, our route operates within the restricted area of the airport. As such,
Transport Canada requires that proof of same-day travel on any carrier into the South Terminal
is necessary.
Note: The South Terminal Shuttle does not drop-off or pick-up at the float-plane terminal. Please contact
your float-plane operator to discuss transportation.

The International Terminal Shuttle pick-up location is outside at Pillar 2 on the Arrivals level. The Domestic Terminal pick-up is outside doorway "F" at curbside on the Arrivals level. There is a sign at both of these locations that is clearly marked 'South Terminal'.
If unsure of connection time, please make use of the Courtesy Shuttle phones located on the hotel boards inside both the Domestic and International Airport Terminals on the Arrivals Level.
It is important to note passengers need to be available to take a Shuttle to the South Terminal at least 1 hour prior to their flight time. See "Minimum Connecting Times" for further information. All passengers are requested to check-in approximately 45 minutes prior to departure. Seats are subject to re-sale 20 minutes prior to departure. Please consider these requirements when choosing your shuttle pick-up time. Depending on your flight connections, it may be necessary for you to hire a taxi to ensure appropriate check-in time. Please be sure that all baggage & belongings have been collected prior to boarding the shuttle to the South Terminal. Baggage is NOT transferred/checked through between terminals. Pacific Coastal Airlines recommends you use one of our shuttle phones located on the hotel boards inside the airport at both the Domestic & International terminals if passengers have further questions.
