Kootenay Wildfire Update as of 12:45 P.M. Saturday, September 2, 2017

At present, Pacific Coastal Airlines is continuing to provide scheduled service between Vancouver International Airport (YVR), the Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC) and between YXC and the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) until further notice. As the situation is fluid, be advised that we may be forced to make unexpected changes to our flight schedule due to events beyond our control at any time.

We are seeking to upgrade to larger aircraft, the 30/34 seat SAAB whenever possible to assist with passenger overflow to YVR South Terminal and Kelowna International Airport as long as visibility does not become an issue, or there is any impact to the airspace related to wildfire suppression efforts in the region.

Cancellation and change fees:

We are waiving cancellation and change fees for all passengers with flights booked now until Thursday, September 7, 2017.
